PAs (Physician Associates/Physician Assistants) are licensed clinicians who practice medicine in every specialty and setting. PA is a Graduate MS program in Allopathy practice. Mandatory Pre-Requisites

  • Every aspiring Students must complete Pre-requisite subjects from US Accredited University
  • Pre-requisites can be completed in Online or Offline mode
  • The subjects includes but not limited to Anatomy, Physiology, Bio-Chemistry, Organic Chemistry, Psychology, Statistics with Clinical Hospital exposure upto 2000 hours
  • Every University has different requirement for the subjects
  • International students must get Transcripts evaluated through WES or ECE for US Equivalency

Can PA Practice in all Specialities?

Yes. They can practice in all specialities including Surgical and Clinical.

When is the right time to do Pre-requisites?

WeCogent recommends the Pre-requisites to be completed during undergraduate or pre-medical phase. This can be done online in case your universities does not allow. 


International students from any Undergraduate Speciality can opt for Online Pre-requisites from US Accredited university during Bachelor's degree. 

Do student need hospital clinical exposure?

Yes. 250 to 2000 hours depends upon University requirement. This can be done at International hospital or can come to USA. Virtual rotations through Video-conferencing also acceptable. 

How difficult is admissions?

Admissions are highly competitive. Most universities receive 1500 to 2000 applications for average intake of around 75. The Pre-Requisite GPA, Hospital exposure and profile are critical. WeCogent has well structured 1 year Mentoring program, to groom students for PA admissions.
