What are the requirements for Medical Residency?

Student must be in MD or DO program or have completed the same. In addition, students must have completed USMLE Step-1, USMLE-Step 2CK or COMLEX exam. 


International Students must meet ECFMG Pathways with USMLE and OET exams. 

How much does medical Residency cost?

Medical Residency is Free of cost. Medical professionals are paid during the Residency. 

How important is USMLE exam?

USMLE Step-1 is just Pass/Fail. Students are expected to get more than 250 marks in USMLE Step-2 CK to get desired Categorical Specialisation. This may be just a indicative score, your profile matters a lot. 

Do WeCogent help International Medical graduate for Observership?

Yes. International Medical Graduates are expected to rotate in Hospital for 2-3 months to get exposure of Hospitals and diagnostics. This will also help them secure Letter of Recommendations.
